Comments: Hi,

It's unfortunate but I'm no longer running that service. A week after I stopped work on the site it was attacked by some group of hackers in Turkey. They'd exploited loopholes in the forum and sent out emails to all those registered with the site. Because I didn't have the time to deal with such things at the time I simply deleted the whole forum section and restored the hacked pages. All the registered email addresses were part of the forum so they're gone for good more or less. I still don't have time to administer a forum as these sort of attacks happen all the time when forum software is running on a site.

I may be able to start a new email list in the future without the use of a forum but for the moment, I'm not fully back in the swing of doing reports again (though I plan on a couple more before the end of the season) so it's not something I've looked into just yet.

Also, after the year or so out, there isn't much risk of the site going over its bandwidth limit now so that's no longer an issue. If I do get something up and running in the future, I'll make sure it's more secure and easily available to sign up for from the front page of the site.

In the meantime, you'll just have to check the site once a month :-)

Comments: I used to get an e-mail when a new report was uploaded. I joined the site (or something) to get this because I was told to so I did not have to check the site as often and therefore keep the number of hits down (or something). Since you have been able to do the reports again I no longer recieve the e-mails. Do I need to sign up again? If so how do I do this?

Cheers Steve

Comments: Deepest sympathies Danny. My dad took me to my first Town game back in the 70's as a 5 year old. I've always had a special relationship with him (and Town) since. This year my dad, my brother and I took my 2 year old son to the Walsall game - no doubt his first of many. I'm not afraid to admit that my dad and I shed a tear or two as we took him up the steps of the Kilner Bank. I now know the pleasure your dad will have experienced in just taking you to watch Town. Town will always be there for you and time will heal. Stay strong. Gaz

Comments: So sorry to hear of your sad loss. All I can say is cherish the memories you have of the time you spent and the ups and downs of your joint passion with your father. It is clear just from the short notes on your home page that you had a deep love for your dad, this will never deminish. You also have a love for Town but the matches will never seem the same with that empty seat next to you and that emptiness inside...
Although you have lost your dad there are many who never had that friendship, I myself envy what you had I played for over 12yrs and I think my dad saw me play twice....at the most....be strong and as they say in your neck of the woods..."keep the faith"...I came upon your site by accident...it is now on my favourites.....
Best wishes, Brian Stanton ex-HTFC

Comments: So sorry to hear of your loss.

My father died 13 years ago this year at the ripe old age of 52!!!!! He took me to see Town against Newcastle before we left Hudds for a sunnier climate and that was my first game. I still follow the results and if Brighton are far away, and Town close I get along and support the town. It does hurt for a while but time is a great healer.

From all your friends down at Brighton and Hove Albion, all the very best and I do hope that you are able to continue producing which is without question the best football site on the web bar none.

God bless and RIP your father

Comments: So sorry mate for everything you are going through right now!

Please trust me when I tell you that this website makes the rest of us laugh through our own tragic circumstances.

You have created something amazing, something that has a huge number of reports that me and my friends never tire of reading amd that never fail to make us smile.

I only hope that the big man upstairs has installed broadband for him so he can hopefully see you continue your fine work!

Comments: I am sorry for your loss, I remember that when my father died the hardest thing was seeing something that I knew would interest him, and making a mental note to tell him about it before remembering I couldn't.

This site would have come in that category and it would be a shame if you couldn't find a way to keep it going.

I am sure you have some great memories.
