Comments: I was afraid that the finest match reports ever produced might tail off a bit after you were muttering somewhere on here about cutting down on it, sometime last season. Glad to see bitter experience hasn't yet triumphed over optimisim and you still labour on in the hope the lads will produce a blinder one day soon and you can take the piss out of just the opposition.

Fine, fine work, Taff.

Comments: I dropped on this site by accident. Within seconds tears of laughter were rolling down my cheeks!! This undoubtably one of the funniest sites I've ever seen, and very easy to navigate. A credit to its creator/s and the ironic humour is spot on.
As a current central London resident the droll Northern humour is a treat.
My last attendence at the McAlpine was the Town v Portsmouth game just after the sale of Marcus Stewart. My son, who was about 12 at the time, concluded this was the beginning of the end and we haven't been since, plus I was out of the country for 13 months from October 2000 anyway.(Saw Towns demise on Bosnian T.V. can you believe? Also found a Town 'supporter' in the obscure town of Gradiska on the Bosnian-Croatian border. He stuck a pin on the league sheets and came up with Town!!)
We used to sit behind the goal at the Panasonic end. I used to wear a bright yellow flourescent hat which I swear Marcus Stewart used for 'zeroing' in on.
It's sad what has happened at Town but we've been there before. Although Jacko isn't a master tactician he will hopefully at least get some sense of pride back into the players.
I think Town play Leyton Orient in March, so a wander down there might be the order of the day.
Anyway, keep this site going, it's a gem, and the "we talk utter *******" newspaper is a classic!!

I think Sam Collins looking good against us just shows how bad we've become. When I was watching him at Town he was up against the likes of Eidur Gudjohnsen (or however you spell it) for Bolton and Craig Hignett at Barnsley. On Saturday he was up against Jon Stead of Huddersfield. Good free kick though ;-)

We Leyton Orient fans know that feeling... although substitute divisiion 3 with conference and sacked with...um, not sacked.

hope you stay up, although the reports tend to be even funnier depending on how bad the result was...if you do go down, I sincerely hope we're there to play you... better the MacAlpine than Dover and Forest Green ;-)

My US team (New England) was drawn against a Guatemalan side in the Round of 16 of the CONCACAF Champions Cup, and accepted a bunch of bribe money to play BOTH legs in Guatamala. Comments: Well done. Your site is so funny. I was watching at Crewe (where I am a season-ticket holder), wondering which away fan was you, and what you were plotting with your camera and wicked sense of humour. The latest effort is brilliant, you capture so much of the scene, I particulary liked the observation of the "executive boxes" having watched a some of a game from up there, those pillars are a pain. Although, to be fair, it's just a bar, with a few tables at the windows, hardly anybody watches the game from there.
I hope you season has now turned around, and thanks for taking 3 points off Cardiff for us!

Comments: Credit to all concerned. BTW, Please stay up, had a great day in Hudd' when we finally found it through the fog, looking forward to next seasons game.
Ps, Palace cheated, but you probally knew that, and they should be Div 2, not you, your grounds too good for starters.

Comments: No idea now. Although I know you, Storzi, and Bob Ellis, Melman doesn't ring a bell. Although I do remember that little blue worm making regular appearances at school.

Comments: Melman? Now there's a name I haven't heard in a long time. A long time. Is this a loaded question? I'm presuming you wouldn't ask that unless you think you know who he is, it's far too much of a coincidence that you should drag that name up from the depths of the guestbook.

Here is Melman in my very first report (which you won't find linked to anywhere else on the site these days). He's the one called Mel ...

Didn't I always say Sam Collins would be a star?

As for trips to Torquay, I quite fancy a trip there. Plenty of scope for a Fawlty Towers tribute.

Comments: One of the few highpoints of being a town supporter is reading your fabbo reports! but I do have to question the level of your commitment re: your reluctance to travel to certain away games, I will be very disappointed if there is no Torquay away report next season!
ps. Don't you ever worry that Town are becoming so heroically bad that they are beyond parody!

Comments: Just thought you'd like to know about your best mate Big Sam Baresi err Collins. After a shaky start he is turning out to be the Vale's player of the season so far! I shall not comment about the rest of the Vale's players however. >:)

Anyway great site, excellent reports, blah blah blah

Comments: Who's Melman and where did he get those odds for the England manager's post? (Only just found this site so been reading the g/book) Nice site - once again tragedy and comedy walk hand in hand in the form of HTFC & this w/site
